December 28
What happens in Spain on April 1st? Good question, what's supposed to happen? Does anything have to happen at all? The answer is nothing special, that is, life goes on, because April Fools' Day is today, December 28th!
Originally connected to the biblical story of Herod's massacre of children, which is rather sinister, the tradition has evolved into a day of pranks that, to be honest, not many people celebrate. Perhaps because you expect them, perhaps because you don't appreciate them, pranks on this day are becoming increasingly rare.
A typical prank on this day is spreading fake news. You might see it on TV or in the newspaper; it's easy to believe and often humorous. Other things you might do include sticking a coin to the ground, swapping sugar for salt, smearing toothpaste on someone's face, or placing a paper doll on their back.

Ha ha, how funny
We're going to give you the last homework assignments for the Christmas calendar, because sadly, this series, which we hope you've enjoyed, ends today. The question is: what's the difference between a joke and a prank?
See you around…
