With the three efes: Faena, Fiesta and Flamenco

2023, again two birds with one stone
Once again, students, teachers and friends of CastiLa, we celebrate the Anniversary of CastiLa (35 already, uff), with more enthusiasm if possible because we recover the Flamenco Fiesta of San Antonio that was interrupted by a pandemic (remember? I don’t know if it rings any bells).

CastiLas anniversary is coming closer and will be celebrated on the day of San “Antonio” . Late spring, almost summer. In Spain on the 40st of May (beginning of June) one can take off his shawl.

In 2023 one stone, two birds again

21:15 – 21:45: Welcome
21.45 – 22.45: Trascendent Flamenco Show:  Spanish Songs Concert by Concha Medina (Voice) and Ramón Maschio (Guitar)
22.45 – 23.45: Sangría and snacks

Thirty-five years, seven lustrums, are not every day. We are honoured to present a high level flamenco show that brings together a good part of CastiLa’s vocational spirit: transcending frontiers and transcending time. Ayako Ishikawa, our Carmen, synthesizes this spirit: for her, Flamenco is the air she needs to live, that’s why she came from Japan in 1993 and here she is still, breathing and transmitting Flamenco through all her pores. It will be a good opportunity to enjoy the show and to chat with all the attendees, a meeting of friends, midweek (Tuesday and thirteen, you can’t miss it!), with live music, sangria and ‘tapas’ in the surroundings of San Nicolás, the Albaicín of Granada.
