CastiLa, as accredited Spanish school by the Instituto Cervantes, organizes the following official exams in Granada: DELE, CCSE, SIELE and the exam of the Chambre of Commerce in Madrid.
The DELE and CCSE exams take place on set dates by the Instituto Cervantes (similar for all exam centres in Spain and all over the World). The exam dates for the SIELE exam and the Chambre of Commerce of Madrid can be agreed upon with the exam centre CastiLa.

DELE (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) is the official accreditation of the command of the Spanish language proficency, issued and recognised by the Ministry of Education of Spain. The Instituto Cervantes is the institution in charge of organising the exams in collaboration with accredited schools such as CastiLa in Granada.
Exams take place in in April, May, July, October and November in Granada and other examination centres all over Spain and the World.

To obtain spanish nationalilty, the minimum level DELE A2 is required.
The exam of constitutional, social and cultural knowledge of Spain called CCSE is for those wanting to obtain spanish citizienship.
Candidates of any nationality, older than 18 year and with legal capacity to work can register for the CCSE exam.
To obtain spanish citizienship, is is necessary, amongst other requirements, to pass two exams designed and managed by the Instituto Cervantes:
- DELE level A2 or superior, accredits basic language knowledge.
- CCSE, accredits basic knowledge of the spanish constitution, culture and society
SIELE is the Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española which certifies electronically the command of the Spanish language proficiency for students and professionals.
It is promoted by the Instituto Cervantes, the Universidad Autónoma de México, the Universidad de Salamanca and the Universidad de Buenos Aires. These institutions guarantee the standards for quality and good practices in the creation of the tests and the use of diverse linguistic varieties in the Hispanic world.
SIELE certifies the degree of proficiency for the Spanish language with four tests: Reading and listening comprehension, Written expression and interaction and Spoken expression and interaction; the exam also takes as a reference the levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Certificates of technical language such as: Business Spanish, Medical Spanish and Spanish in the Travel Industry. These certificates are issued by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navegation of Madrid and organized in colaboration with the University of Alcalá (Madrid) and accredited exam centres such as CastiLa.
The exam takes place at CastiLa at the end of the course. The student can choose the exam date and register directly at CastiLa.
