You can certify your level of Spanish with an official certificate from the Ministry of Education. There are six levels of language accreditation (DELE A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2) in six annual calls for proposals.

IMPORTANT: To apply for Spanish Nationality, you must demonstrate at least a certain level DELE A2, as well as the Certificate of Constitutional and Sociocultural Knowledge (CCSE).

    It is capable of… Understand and use everyday expressions that are frequently used, as well as simple phrases intended to satisfy immediate needs.

    He can introduce himself and others, askand give basic personal information about your home address, your belongings and the people you know.

    It can be related in an elementary way ifprovided that your interlocutor speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to cooperateerar.

    It is capable of… Understand frequently used phrases and expressions related to areas of experience that are especially relevant to him/her (basic information about himself/herself and his/her family, shopping, places of interest, occupations, etc.)

    He knows how to communicate when carrying out simple and everyday tasks that require nothing more than simple and direct exchanges of information on matters that are familiar or routine to him. He can describe in simple terms aspects of his past and his environment as well as issues related to his immediate needs.

    It is capable of… to understand the main points of clear, standard language texts on matters familiar to him or her, whether in work, study or leisure.
