Certificates
Certificates and Official Diplomas: After finishing the course, students can ask for a Certificate of Attendance and Achievement as well as for a Certificate of Obtained Language Level and Linguistic Competence. These certificates are issued by CastiLa or the Ministry of Education (DELE) upon performing the required tests. Students can also obtain ECTS University Credits (European Credit Transfer System).
CastiLa, accredited by the Instituto Cervantes, offer the following Certificates/Diplomas:
![]() | Letter of Admission and other certifications for study visas. If you are a student from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland, you will need a student visa for stays longer than 90 days. The long-term courses offered by CastiLa – Accredited Center by the Institute Cervantes meet all the requirements for obtaining a student visa. + info | |
![]() | Certificate of Attendance A certificate from CastiLa, certifying the hours of attendance and the performance / participation of the students in class. It is only issued with a minimum of 90% class attendance. | |
![]() | Certificate of Level A certificate of CastiLa accrediting the obtained language level and the linguistic competences. In order to obtain this certificate, students have to pass oral and written exams. Results are given according to the evaluation criteria established by the teaching staff in the study program. | |
![]() | Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) The official DELE certificate is issued by the Ministry of Education, managed by the Institute Cervantes and organized by CastiLa in Granada. The following levels, established by CEFR can be accredited: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. CastiLa helds the 7 annual calls as offered by the Institute Cervantes: February, April, May, July, October, September and November. | |
![]() | International Evaluation Service of the Spanish Language SIELE is the International Evaluation Service of the Spanish Language, certifying the level of mastery of the Spanish language by electronic means to students and professionals of all continents. | |
![]() | Cultural and Constitutional Knowledge CCSE is an exam for the obtaining of Spanish citizenship and the Institute Cervantes manages the two mandatory exams according to the laws regulating the procedure for the obtaining of Spanish citizenship: the DELE exam, being level A2 the minimum level required, and the CCSE exam, accrediting sociocultural and constitutional knowledge. CastiLa held the CCSE exams the last Thursday of each month at its facilities. | |
![]() | Diploma of Business Spanish / Diploma of Spanish for the Tourism Industry Both certificates are issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid. Flexible dates: the exam can be held after the corresponding course. | |
![]() | University Credits of the European System of Transference and Accumulation of Credits (ECTS) Issued by the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia by virtue of the collaboration agreement. | |
![]() | BILDUNGSURLAUB CastiLa´s courses are recognized by several federal States of Germany for the Bildungsurlaub program.

![]() | CSN CastiLa It is accredited by the corresponding department of the Swedish Government granting economic facilities for students participating on continuing training courses.

CastiLa – Erasmus+ Key Action 1 – KA1 For direct enrollment (individual and group). Grants must be applied for through a workplace or study center at the relevant national agency. Key Action 2 – KA2 CastiLa actively participates in Erasmus+ KA2 collaboration projects. You can count on CastiLa's collaboration for specific proposals and grant applications.
