GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Teaching Team: Professors ELESpecific courses and collaborators for cultural activities.

Process:

CastiLa Applications accompanied by CVs are accepted throughout the year. Positions are offered as needed, currently at a rate of 1 or 2 per year. From the CVs received, 8 candidates are selected to attend the training and methodology adaptation course. CastiLaThis course will assess the candidates and establish the order of hiring. Candidates who attend the course but are not hired will be placed on a waiting list. Positions will be advertised once the waiting list is exhausted.

The evaluation criteria consider the following essential requirements: being a native Spanish speaker, holding a university degree, possessing the CAP / equivalent Master's degree or being in the process of obtaining it, attending and passing the Methodological Adaptation Course of CastiLa.

The specific merits are those related to general and specific didactics ELE (doctorate, courses, seminars), language training, experience, stays abroad, computer skills and others that define a profile related to the activity.

The resumes received will have a minimum validity of one year to be taken into account for the calls in question.

The selected candidates will receive written notification, invitation and confirmation of attendance for the related methodological adaptation course, as well as the job posting which includes the following information: Course start date and duration; program and objectives; attendees, accommodation conditions and availability; seminar leader, coordinator, selection committee, contact person; certificates, forecasts and contract template.

How to become a teacher in CastiLa?

In the selection of teachers of CastiLaThe basic requirements are:

• University degree or Bachelor's degree + Master's degree, minimum 5 years.
• Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude (CAP) 
• Seminar CastiLa, with academic and practical aspects where you can become familiar with the style, teaching-learning method, commitments of the center and the daily work mechanics.
• The candidate's attitude and personality are fundamental.
• To improve teaching and language skills, all teachers and staff of CastiLa They carry out continuing education programs with financial support from the center.

2. Administrative staff.

Requirements: EU nationality or another nationality with a residence or work permit in an EU country. Specific training to perform the duties of the position, which may be in the academic area (registration, enrollments and certifications), activities, accommodation, accounting or communication.

3. General services.

   Positions in this area involve maintenance, cleaning, and gardening of both premises and accommodations, as well as cafeteria staffing and student reception. Experience and other skills related to providing excellent student service are valued.
