Since its founding in 1988, CastiLa has been committed to excellence in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. Our mission is to provide a high quality education that combines linguistic immersion with cultural experience. Located in the historic Albaicín neighborhood, we offer a unique educational experience that allows students to experience the language in its cultural context. We are dedicated to:

Vision

Our vision is to be a global benchmark in Spanish language teaching and the dissemination of Hispanic culture. We aspire to create a dynamic, multicultural learning environment that fosters understanding and appreciation of linguistic and cultural diversity. Our goal is to provide training through knowledge and acquisition of language skills, promoting intercultural communication and understanding. We want our students not only to master the Spanish language, but also to become enthusiastic about the target culture and to become ambassadors of the rich Hispanic cultural heritage.

Our brochure said in 1988: 'Castila was born from the desire to show, alongside its language, a Spain full of contrasts, from the enthusiasm for a language capable of unifying all variety – even its own linguistic differences – and from the confidence in a society where cultural exchange is paramount. We like to cross borders, to have the pleasure of crossing them.
