International World Heritage Day

Spain is one of the countries with the most World Heritage Sites, and guess what? Granada alone has two!

Ah, I see you weren't satisfied with just one book fair; you have to come to the second one, right? We understand your situation; it's difficult to resist the temptation to buy another book for your collection, especially when it has that old smell and you hear that peculiar rustling sound as you turn the pages.

The cold weather is starting, but between October and November we combat it with reading and charming places. You surely have your favorite spot in Granada to hide away with a book and get lost in a read; we do too.

San Miguel festivities in the Albaicín

From his altar on the Cerro del Aceituno, Saint Michael, patron saint AlbaicínIt takes care of its population. On September 29th, its actual day, a procession will take place through the streets of the neighborhood and kids And the adults will accompany him back home for some paella and to enjoy the day. In fact, the whole weekend will be a celebration. Flemish, bar with music, churros with chocolate On Saturday, movies for children, entertainment... It's our festival!

Víznar Cultural Week

Every August Viznar celebrates the memory of the poet Federico Garcia Lorca with a week of festive events. The highlight will be the night of the 18th: you can see a flamenco show that leaves a lasting impression due to its quality and depth, and afterwards, if you're feeling brave, walk to the Barranco where they say the poet died and where we know hundreds of victims of senselessness lie.
