International World Heritage Day
Each year, the November 16th The declaration of places of extraordinary value as World Heritage sites is celebrated, a distinction of the UNESCO which celebrates its rich historical and cultural diversity. Spain is one of the countries with the most World Heritage Sites, and guess what? Granada alone has two!
Indeed, the Alhambra It received the distinction in 1984; I don't think I need to explain why. The good thing is that ten years later, in 1994, the neighborhood of Albaicín It equally deserved such a declaration, so from one hill to another Albaicín and Alhambra extend their hand and in pure synergy offer a spectacle like never before seen.
Granada is positioning itself as European Capital of CultureWith events like this and by recovering the Night On White We are confident we will win the award. We're counting on it!
On the 16th, you'll find workshops, guided tours, access to historical sites, and activities celebrating our magnificent heritage. Want more information? https://www.granadadigital.es/granada-dia-mundial-patrimonio-actividades/
