In addition to our general courses, CastiLa offers the possibility of combining Spanish study with a variety of subjects—such as art, literature, history, politics. economics or sports —and with personal interests and activities including skiing, horse riding, hiking, cycling or pádel, or integrating them into a single learning experience. This course is a combination of an intensive Spanish course (General A or General B) with a week of skiing in Sierra Nevada accompanied by a Spanish teacher. (Maximum 3 students skiing with a Spanish teacher.) Granada is a city known for its history, culture and vibrant life.
It is also known for its unrivalled location between the sea and the mountains, the Costa Tropical and Sierra Nevada, one of the largest and most attractive ski resorts in Spain.
Castila offers the opportunity to enjoy three aspects of Granada: Spanish, a rich variety of leisure and cultural activities, and skiing just a few minutes from the city centre in Sierra Nevada, under the spectacular winter light with views of the Mediterranean and Africa.
Yes, Granada is a university city highly appreciated for its history, its lively atmosphere and its exceptional surroundings: the proximity of both high mountains and the sea (Sierra Nevada National Park, the Sierra de Huétor Natural Park and the Costa Tropical).
At CastiLa we want our students to enjoy this remarkable landscape as well. For this reason, we offer a horse-riding activity that allows you to combine learning Spanish with riding in nature, in collaboration with qualified professionals and in a unique setting.
