The Constitutional and Sociocultural Knowledge of Spain (CCSE) test is aimed at all those who wish to apply for Spanish nationality.

Among other requirements, the law demands the passing of two tests designed and administered by the Cervantes Institute:
- The test that accredits a basic knowledge of the Spanish language: Diploma de español DELE level A2 or higher.
- The test that accredits knowledge of the Spanish Constitution and of Spanish social and cultural reality: CCSE (conocimientos constitucionales y socioculturales de España).
The CCSE exams take place in CastiLa, Granada, and in other examination centres in Spain and many other countries on the last Thursday of 10 months of the year (all except August and December).
