Similar to General A, this course is made up of theoretical information – elaborated from the most advanced perspective of linguistic studies– with practical exercises and the continual participation of the student, allowing the beginner to learn a new language and put it to use. Starting from an intermediate level, you will begin to speak with fluency and correctness due to the adaptability of the method. At an advanced level the student’s language becomes more profound. All the students, whatever level, enjoy the language from day one.

Since it is the General (A) course with two more hours of lessons, an emphasis will be made in specific difficulties of the language and of the student. The planned activities will fundamentally pay attention to group 2 of the General (A) course, i.e. They will mainly be practical, if a thorough grammatical revision is not necessary.

Method

Communicative activities in order to improve the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Rotation of teachers: teachers change every class.

Practice based on grammar

3 classes per day
Explanation of an extract of grammar and immediate practice of exercises in real communicative situation. Correction of homework.

Practice based on thematical units

3 classes per day
Oral and written exercises; comprehension practice –audio-visual material and analysis of documents / magazines, books, television, radio– and conversation related to the specific subjects studied.

With this goal, Castila has developed more than 54 social and cultural activities that help the foreign studetns integration in Spanish life. These activities are of very different kinds: spanish movies, thematic evenings, musical events, trips, visits, sports, workshops, paellas, tapas time etc.
