This course is a combination of a Intensive Spanish course (General A or General B) with a further week of skiing in Sierra Nevada accompanied by a Spanish teacher. Maximum 3 students skiing with a Spanish Teacher.
Granada is a city much appreciated for its history, its culture and its vibrant nightlife. And for its incomparable surroundings: mountains and sea, Sierra Nevada and the Costa Tropical. CastiLa would like you to enjoy three important aspects of life in Granada: Spanish language, the excellent Spanish life and culture of the city; and to ski just a few minutes away, in Sierra Nevada, in bright sunshine, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and Africa.
Program
The course is a combination of a one-week Spanish course with a further week of skiing, accompanied by a Spanish Teacher.
Week of intensive Spanish Course
An intensive Spanish course of 4 or 6 classes daily 12-15 hours of socio-cultural activities.
Week of skiing
The week of skiing includes:
- Forfait for 5 full day access to available tracks. (9:00 am to 5:00 pm)
- Private transport to ski resort managed by CastiLa.
- 7 skiing hours with Spanish people, your Spanish language teacher included, who knows all the tracks and services available in the resort and Granada
Please, if you finally decide to book Spanish + ski course, let us know your level of skiing as well as in Spanish. Inform us if you would like to have Ski Lessons or not, and whether ski equipment is needed. This info will be useful for better organising your stay.

Does the student need to know how to ski?
Students can have any level of skiing, from absolute beginner to advanced.
How much costs for a ski instructor?
Prices for a lesson depend on the timetable and the number of students, and they are listed below.
Who am I going to ski with?
A Spanish teacher goes skiing along with the students. He/she will also bring them to and from the resort. The Spanish Teacher is not an Ski Instructor. For Ski lessons we collaborate with Escuela Española de Esquí.
How do you get equipment?
To hire the ski equipment, we collaborate with the Ski and Snowboard Hire Shop, with excellent services and materials, maybe the most professional in Sierra Nevada. The prices are: 5 days Ski Equipment (Skis, poles and boots), ski guard on slopes’ – lifts’ place, for 45 euros. Other equipment such as hats, gloves, etc, are available.
Meals?
During ski days, usually we take a packed lunch and eat together in the ski area in special sites where sometimes it is possible to see the Mediterranean or Africa. According to preferences or at the end of the day, we drink or eat together in an interesting or scenic place. If your chosen accommodation is a Spanish Family, full board, they will prepare for you a packed lunch.

Granada is a university city much appreciated for its history, its vibrant nightlife and for its incomparable surroundings: mountains and sea (Sierra Nevada National Park, Sierra de Huétor Natural Park, Costa Tropical). Castila wants its students, friends and collaborators to enjoy this spectacular scenery, and with this objective in mind we have developed a “horseback riding” activity, which offers the option to combine a Spanish language course with a horseback riding course. You can depend upon first-class organization with first-class professionals in scenery beyond comparison.

Take a unique opportunity to learn and practice Spanish while enjoying hiking trips in the enchating landscape of Granada and his natural areas. In these full-immersion language courses, you will interact with your teachers, Spanish students, mountain guides and local hikers.
Guided hiking and trekking tours led by experienced local experts through the Natural Parks and cultural heritage areas of the mountains of southern Spain. All year around we offer hiking trips, in Granada it’s always spring.
Standard Program
Spanish in Classroom
• 4 lessons per day
• 20 Classes per week
• 50 minutes duration of classes

• Daily social and cultural activities, with Spanish teachers
Hiking Programme for 1 week
• Two short hikes (3-4 hours) on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons

• In students stay in Granada after the end of the course, they will be invited to go on another excursion for free.
