Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. It has an estimated budget of €26.2 billion for the current period 2021-2027. This is nearly double the funding compared to its predecessor programme.

CastiLa courses meeting the requirements for obtaining scholarships and grants of Erasmus +

1. Key Action 1 (KA1): Learning Mobility of Individuals

Adult Education – Mobility for Adult Learners (if the person is part of an adult education programme or institution)
or
Adult Education – Mobility for Staff (if the person is an educator or staff member in adult education).

It allows a full cultural immersion programme in the target language through certified intensive courses, cultural activities, and interaction with local society.

School Education – Mobility for Staff
or
Adult Education – Mobility for Staff, depending on the teacher’s institutional context.

It allows participation in structured courses focused on language improvement, methodological updates, and cultural immersion. The stay can include intensive Spanish classes, pedagogical workshops, and integration in real teaching contexts. CastiLa, as an Instituto Cervantes Accredited Centre, meets the quality and relevance standards required for Erasmus+ mobility projects.

School Education – Mobility for Pupils (Short-term Group Mobility).

It allows short-term group mobility for students (5–30 days), accompanied by school staff. Activities can include intensive Spanish language courses, cultural workshops, local interaction, and visits, all adapted to the group’s age and educational level. CastiLa, as an Accredited Centre by the Instituto Cervantes, offers tailor-made programmes aligned with Erasmus+ requirements, combining language learning with cultural immersion in Granada.

Higher Education – Blended or Short-Term Group Mobility for Students.

It allows short or blended mobility for university students (from 5 days to 30 days for short-term; longer for blended mobility), with the possibility of combining structured language courses with cultural activities and academic content. CastiLa, an Instituto Cervantes Accredited Centre, provides intensive Spanish language programmes complemented by workshops, lectures, guided visits, and intercultural interaction, meeting Erasmus+ quality standards and learning outcomes.

Adult Education or School Education – Mobility for Educational Staff.

It allows mobility of teaching staff from schools, adult education centres or other educational institutions for training purposes. Programmes may include structured courses, methodological workshops, language reinforcement, cultural immersion and professional networking.

CastiLa, as an Accredited Centre by the Instituto Cervantes, offers specialised teacher training in ELE didactics, curriculum design, and cultural integration, fulfilling Erasmus+ requirements. The courses are adaptable to the professional development goals of participating institutions.

2. Key Action 2 (KA2): Cooperation among Organisations and Institutions

CastiLa is ready to collaborate on KA2 projects, bringing extensive experience in international partnerships and project management in language education.
