Institute logoCervantes

This Spanish Course It is designed for expats being a non-intensive Spanish course of 4 classes per week (2+2). Once your Spanish level is determined you can book for your course on your suitable level and schedule.

Goals and contents: The goals of the extensive Spanish course are the same as those for the general intensive courses (101, 103). However, the residential conditions of the participants determines the activities in the classroom to be more focused on practicing grammar, vocabulary and structured communication, always in function of the communicative living in Granada student's needs. The reduced number of participants per class (maximum 6) enhances a familiar programming of these goals.

These courses are an effective complement to the usual use and practice of Spanish in an immersion situation which translates into specific objectives such as: acquiring linguistic resources, clarifying doubts, doing practical exercises (language gym), orientation on cultural aspects and opportunities in Granada...

Language Level and Learning Process:

Progressive programs of 16 hours per month are offered for the 6 levels of language proficiency established in the CEFR (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).

As for the pace of learning (overcoming levels) see the attached table. In the complete program of these extensive courses (48 hours), selected contents of the weekly modules of the intensive courses (80 / 120 hours) are taught. Approximate equivalence: Extensive Module (4 weeks – 16 hours) > Extensive Module (2 weeks – 40 hours).
