Description
An immersive educational program that includes classroom work, sociocultural activities, and, if necessary, accommodation. The programs are designed to integrate the curricula of the home universities as well as the requirements for university credit transfer.ECTS).
Objectives
Improve students' communication skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and cultural background by combining classes and homework with sociocultural activities with teachers and local ambassadors.
Development and guarantees
En CastiLaThe students are part of an international group whose common language is Spanish.
The program's primary objective is the continuous practice of Spanish, guaranteed practice in different situations:
• With Spanish students, families and collaborators.
• In class, with experienced teachers
• Outside of class, in activities carefully planned according to the students' interests and the objectives set by their teachers.
• Participation of Spanish teachers and “local ambassadors” in the activities.
Program summary
- 20 classes per week: Spanish Language and Culture
- Maximum of 6 participants per group.
- Activities each week: - 2/3 cultural activities, carried out by teachers or specialized collaborators: themed afternoons, films, concerts, exhibitions, theater, visits to the market, the library, monuments… - 2/3 leisure activities: sports (football, volleyball, tennis…), city tours, workshops (ceramics, environment, cooking…), cooking (paella at school), salsa classes, flamenco classes, water activities on a lake, flamenco party at school, bike route…- 1 excursion (Saturday) to the beach, Sierra Nevada, Seville, Cordoba, Úbeda, Baeza, Ronda…organized by the school staff and collaborators.
- Access to swimming pool and other sports facilities.
- Access to study rooms and library.
- Optional accommodation arranged by CastiLa en studio or individual apartment, shared flat, Spanish family or residence
Planning: Program evaluation and guarantees
In order to ensure the achievement of the objectives, the course planning includes:
- Level test upon arrival
- Activities programmed according to the level and specific needs of each student, focused on practice and increasing personal capacity to Express oneself y entender in the four communicative skills (speaking, listening, writing and reading).
- A learning assessment system agreed upon with universities for obtaining credits.
- Certificates of attendance, level, and credits ECTS, after completing the course.

SCHEDULE: From 9:30 to 13:35 (Break from 11:15 to 11:50)
METHOD: Practical communication activities with attention to form. Teacher rotation.
MATERIALS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: Books and school supplies.
SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES: Activities every day, in the afternoon with the teachers, and on weekends with specialized teachers and collaborators.
NATIONAL HOLIDAYS 2026 (no classes): April 3, May 1, June 4, August 14, October 12, December 8 and 25.
