Hiking: Órgiva – Mecina Fondales – Busquistar

The path leads us first to the Mirador de los Pensamientos (Thoughts Viewpoint) or Mirador del Trevenque (Trevenque Viewpoint), from which we can appreciate and interpret the unique landscape of this area of the Sierra Nevada. We continue along a trail that takes us closer to the Trevenque ridge through scrubland and pine forest. We descend towards the sandy areas, skirting the slopes of Trevenque to the Cortijo Rosales farmhouse, which offers a viewpoint overlooking the jagged profile of the Alayos mountains. We continue to the river, very close to the intake of the canal that supplies water to the Dílar hydroelectric plant, and finally return to the viewpoint, passing by the ruins of the Cortijo Sevilla farmhouse, always with views of the escarpments and the valley floor. Throughout, the scenery is spectacular and varied.
