On this day, January 2, 1492, Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon took the keys to the city of Granada And they culminated in what is now known as the Reconquista. Today we will talk about a story that, more than 500 years later, still stirs up controversy, and we will witness the commemorative events.
